Self-Care Restoring Personal Health
The other side of Health is Lifestyle
How does Self-Care work?
Self-Care is based on restoring health. To restore health, you have to be able to find the pieces in a person's lifestyle that are quietly resisting health. They can be found in your physical health, mental health, or emotional health. You can think of this like rocks blocking a river. When these blocks are found and removed health flows fully and the body regains its full restoring ability. Design fitness with the insight of Self-Care has created Restoring Therapy. The purpose of this therapy is to create a personal environment of health around a person reducing stress on the body and increasing positive action.

In step two, we address how to accomplish your goals so that your lifestyle is not undermining your efforts. Then in step three, we continually adapt and evaluate the process until we find what works for you. This way of doing things can perfectly complement the challenges of the aging process, work-life balance, overuse injuries, post-physiotherapy treatment, injury prevention, family health, stress management, and positive change towards a balanced lifestyle.
Self-Care
Self-Care can seem like a lot of things but really it’s the skill of taking care of yourself-- better known as taking care of your body. Sometimes we overdo things, sometimes we under do things. Regardless of the cause, if it gets... read more
